Please pray with me...

This beautiful child of mine will be seeing a neurologist in the morning, trying to figure out why she can't feel pain or temperature in her hands and forearms.

*Please pray for the doctor to be able to figure this out.

*Please pray for healing for whatever is the source of the problem.

*Please pray for clarity of thought for myself, and that I can turn this incredible fear over to God.

Today is one of those days when I wish I didn't know quite this much medical terminology. I know just enough to make me really worried about what the symptoms and tests are NOT saying.

Thanks!!

My brain is swimming

So, remember those resolutions I made? Especially number...[long pause while I go look up the number]....Number 2. Go back to school to get my Master's Degree. Yeah, that one is going to kick my butt...and I'm not even to the applying to programs stage yet.

I've been researching schools...online schools and local schools, as well as some that are neither.

Bachelor's programs, Master's programs, certificate programs...

Application requirements, prerequisites, and GPAs....

Do you know how long it has been since I went to school?!? ANY school?!? Some of those things they are asking for in Masters' programs were not even invented yet when I was in college, back in the dark ages.

Seriously...one program I looked at required 3 to 4 foreign language classes in the last 10 years. Huh? It has been longer than that since I took ANY classes. The last language classes were in high school, and I graduated from THAT in 1987. Yeah, I am *that* old.

Then, as I finished researching the degree I *thought* I wanted, I realized that it was not REALLY what I wanted, so I am back to figuring out which subject matter to study. Ugh. I didn't expect THIS part to be so hard.

How am I going to survive the actually going to school part?!?
