Some friends had a cat that needed a new home, so I talked to my husband about it, and we brought her home. Her name is Pheobe, and she is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately, our other cat, Nibbles, is NOT happy. My husband thinks she will get over it, and they will eventually get used to each other. I am concerned. Nibble is hiding in the back of a closet and when she comes out to eat or use her litter box, there is a LOT of loud unhappy kitty sounds. So, I'm not sure what to do...any ideas?

Hope the 2 of them are getting along better soon. I think your husband's right- usually they get used to each other after a week or so.
What a beautiful new addition!
We just added a new dog to our crazy home a couple months ago. We already had two dogs but I wanted a big dog.
Well things went fine for a day or two then our other female dog decided to start living up to that stereotype. She and the big dog kept fighting. I thought for sure I'd have to get rid of the new dog but they have adjusted now.
I'm sure your cats will do the same..........or not..lol!
