CHRISTMAS BLOG CARNIVAL: Day 2

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without...

...Christmas plays, cantatas, and caroling.

God currently has us in a church where the focus is a bit different that the churches we have been a part of in the past...which means no Christmas plays, no cantatas, and no caroling.  And I have discovered that I am very sad about that.  So this year, while my husband is away, we are going to go experience some of the joy of Christmas with other churches.

  5. I remember Christmas plays as a child and singing "Away in a Manger" in front of the church as a little girl. I miss that too. It seems like everybody is too busy to practice. Those memories at church at Christmas are some of the earliest of my childhood.

  6. I haven't gone caroling since I was a kid! That would be so fun! I don't think I've ever been "caroled" either. I should do that one year. I do love Christmas plays though when I get a chance to go to one. Some of them are just too expensive!

Music has such a sweet way of carrying us through the season, hope you get your fill as you visit other congregations!
