I was born and raised in the southeast - Alabama. I love and miss all the things on your list!
i heard that people are so friendly!!
here, in michigan...people crash into things when they are walking because their noses are so high in the air!!
I love living in the South East. I'm a North Easterner transplanted, and I couldn't be any happier!
Awww, I grew up Florida (not really technically part of "the south"). I miss that humidity too these day. My skin is cracked and bleeding from the bitter winter here! Loved your list :)
Humidity and hospitality--welcome, wonderful things. Great post.
Boy - and what is sweet tea?? As a Western Girl, I've only ever heard my Texas mil say, Swt Tay. Is it the same? ;)
Happy TT!
My TT is Food for thought.
Better you than me living there. I was go nuts living in the south east. Happy TT.
Amen to each and every one! Love me some sweet tea and humidity!
There's a Chick-A-Fil near us. Very often they have someone standing around outside it dressed as a cow, which is always rather alarming!
You really like hospitality I take it. LOL!
Sounds like you're happy to be home! What a happy TT. (Thanks for visiting mine)
And little or no snow! That's a big reason for me. LOL!
Happy TT!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love the southeast too. I am a Navy wife of six as well.
Happy TT!
I hear ya! :)
People who know that "all y'all" is the plural of "y'all."
Being called "Miss Di"
"Yes Ma'am" and "Yes Sir."
Fried okra.
Fuddruckers!!!
Honey, I think we spell it "y'all".
To live just where you want is vital. People often forget it isn't so much a house that is important, but what's inside, and OUTSIDE it.
AMEN! I was born and raised and still live in Georgia! I have been all around the world and there is NO place I would rather be!!
Welcome home ya'll!!
I'm not even from the south and I love all those things. I think I'm 'southern' at heart- just born in the north. ;)
I live in TN and think your list is right on!!
Thanks for visiting me. I also have a TT post on my family blog. It won't make you hungry I promise!
Oh, I love Chick-fil-A! I always make sure I go there when I visit relatives in North Carolina.
Huh... I've always spelled it "y'all"... I bet I say it just the same as you though ;-) just put the apostrophe in a different spot.
